The Call of Duty 4 Tournament again didn't happen yesterday, so we put in place a schedule that if the Call of Duty 4 Tournament doesn't occur, then it'll be moved to the week after, and so on until its played, when one does go ahead there will be a 2 week gap until the one afterwards. Because this is kind of confusing there will be a event calendar on the right hand side of the page showing when the next Call of Duty 4 tournament is happening, and all of the previous ones with dates and results. This will hopefully make more sense when you look at the calender.
Â
Another new thing is the Alnighter pages that is coming, along with the members page it'll be required for you to login to be able to view it, so as well as Alnighters being on the calendar, you'll be able to see photos from the last few alnighters, maybe you're on there.
Â
So sign up, and find out if you've made it to the Members page and soon Alnighters Page. |

So the last tournament didn't go too well, unfortunately not enough people knew about it or showed up. Just to be clear the next tournament will be on Friday 14th August it will start at an earliest of 1pm, and a latest of 1:30pm. More information about times, rules and prizes below. The tournament will be a Free For All, meaning you shoot everyone, all perks and unlocks will be available for you to pick from and the more kills you make the better chance you have of either being the one of the top fraggers or a lottery ticket winner.
Â
The lottery ticket winner is a drawn randomly from a electronic raffle, the more tickets(kills) that you enter into it the better chance you have of your ticket being drawn.

So over the past couple of weeks you will of noticed myself or gary updating something on the computers, this would of probably been related to these new games that are all working on all 20pc's.
Â
As you can see first is Demigod, a RTS/RPG style game, alot like DotA. The second is well known for its past titles, Call of Duty World at War though introduces the new Zombie gamemode which has proven to be very popular around the LAN centre. The last but not least, is a RTS game based on the popular Lord of the Rings series, sequel to the original The Battle for Middle Earth, BFME2 allows you to pick from 6 different armies and to build your own fortress and army in the Lord of the Rings world.

So its that time again, the second Call of Duty 4 Free for All tournament is coming this friday 7th August starting at 1pm. Be in Squeex for 12:45pm.
Â
This tournament will be done slightly differently to last time, instead of 1 free round there will be 1 free round and a second round which costs £2 to enter, if enough people enter (10+) then there will be prizes for both the top fragger of the first free round, and top fragger of the second paid for round. Then there will be a third prize for the random ticket winner, obviously if you enter both rounds you're doubling your chance to win the ticket draw.
Â
Times:
First Round: 1pm
Second Round: 1:45pm
Rounds last 30minutes

So the tournament went off without so much of as a hitch, only one small problem with logging people in, though didn't put us behind considering we started early. In future the tournament may start earlier e.g. 1pm rather than 2 so people aren't waiting around, if you can show up 30minutes before the tournament to give us the heads up so we know how many people are entering, this week we only got 8 people entering, hopefully in 2 weeks time we'll have more. Screenshot below of the scores, Top fragger highlighted in red which was Squeaky who gained 2 free hours, and the Lotto winner highlighted in blue was Ginger Ninja who gained 3 free hours.
